From our Amma's flavours to your table...

What began in our kitchen as something made just for family is now something we’re happy to share with you. Every batch is prepared the same way it always has been — slow, careful, and with a deep respect for tradition. We use simple, honest ingredients and let the flavors speak for themselves.

 

Nothing rushed, nothing artificial. Just food made with care, meant to be enjoyed the way we always have — at a table full of warmth, conversation, and one more serving. ❤️

It's not just pickles! A Kitchen with a Vision.

Vasi's Kitchen was never meant to be just a pickle brand. That's why it's called "Vasi's Kitchen, because a kitchen is alive, seasonal, ever-changing, and full of possibilities.

Right now, it's summer. And in an Indian summer, nothing speaks louder than mangoes. So here we are with our traditionally loved, handmade mango pickles, made the way they've always been made, just in time for the season that calls for them.

And, this is only the beginning.​

We have plans. Real ones. Authentic pudis that go beautifully on idly and dosa, or mixed into a bowl of hot rice. Pudis for sambar. Pudis for rasam. All made the Vasi's Kitchen way; small batches, honest, pure, no shortcuts, no colours, no preservatives!

The vision is clear. The plans are already taking shape. And in the middle of all of this — it's you that keeps us going. Every order, every message, every jar you open and enjoy is our validation that this journey is worth every bit of effort. We're just getting started. And we're glad you're here with us. ❤️

Every jar from Vasi's Kitchen is made fresh, in small batches, with nothing added to extend shelf life artificially. What preserves our pickles is the same thing that always has — the right amount of salt, oil, and time. Just like amma made it.

Our Assurance

Behind every jar of Vasi's Kitchen is a woman who has been cooking with love her entire life.

"Vasundhara" — Vasi — doesn't follow a factory process. She follows her instincts, her memory, and a deep respect for ingredients and the people who will eat them. Every batch is small. Every step is intentional. And nothing, absolutely nothing, is ever rushed.

Firstu - It starts at the source 
Every batch begins with hand-picked raw mangoes and fresh tomatoes — chosen with care, not convenience. We don't settle for whatever's available. We wait for the right ones. Then come the ingredients. Chilly powder, salt, mustard seeds, hing, jaggery, special masalas and oils — sourced as close to home as possible. Because what goes in, you taste that in every bite.

Secondu - Then the family sits down together 
No machines. No timers. Just hands. The mangoes are cut, the spices are measured, the proportions are felt, not just calculated. This part cannot be rushed. It never has been. Vasi knows exactly how much is enough, and that knowledge doesn't come from a recipe card.

Thirdu - Then comes the making 
Slow. Intentional. Full of love. Every mix, every fold, every layer — done by hand, with the kind of attention that only a home kitchen can give. Not a factory floor. Not a production line. Just Vasi, her hands, and decades of knowing what good food feels like.

Fourthu - Then it rests 
The jars are sealed and set aside for a full week. This is where the magic happens quietly — the masalas settle in, the oil carries the spice deep into every mango piece, and the flavors become one. You can't hurry this part either. Neither we!

Fifthu, Final! - Only then, it's ready for you

Really liked the Tomato Pickle. It was filled with flavour. Im not surpriced thought. I had heard a lot about aunty's cooking!

Pickle is tasty to say the least, true to what has been told, u dont experience any presence of preservatives, enjoyed every bit of it!
